Powertrains offered for the 2021 Mazda6

The Mazda6 has two powertrains on offer. A 2.5-liter SKYACTIV® inline-four-cylinder engine powers the entry-level Sport and Touring trims. This engine produces 187 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. The 2.5-liter SKYACTIV® turbocharged inline-four-cylinder powers the remaining Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve, Carbon Edition, and Signature trims. This engine pumps out 227 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque with 87-Octane regular unleaded fuel. If you are craving more power, the 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine has the capacity to produce 250 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque with 93-Octane premium unleaded fuel. Both the engines are mated to a SKYACTIV®-Drive six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift and Sport mode.
