Today we wanted to look at the lineup of one of our vehicles and compare the different trim levels in which it’s available. So, we figured we’d highlight our popular subcompact crossover, the 2019 Mazda CX-3. The table below highlights the different trims and packages as well as their MSRP, but we’ll dive into more detail below that.

The only real mechanical difference between trim levels is the drivetrain, as you can opt for either the basic front-wheel drive or the more advanced i-ACTIV All-Wheel Drive. Beyond that, most mechanical parts and specifications remain the same between the trim levels. However, what does differ, of course, is the feature content found standard and available throughout the vehicles. The table obviously shows that certain packages are available to be added to certain trims, but what about the standard features?
The Sport is the base trim level so it will come with the most basic of features, including things like the Direct Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Blind Spot Monitoring, fabric seating, push-button start, 16” wheels, etc. The Touring adds more to what is already standard in the Sport while also upgrading some features. For instance, it increases the size of the wheels to 18” instead of 16”, upgrades the push-button start system to the full Mazda Advanced Keyless Entry system, and changes out the fabric seats for black leatherette. Additional features include things like rain-sensing wipers, automatic climate control and LED headlights. Finally, the Grand Touring represents the top of the line trim level (especially when equipped with the Premium Package). It upgrades the seats to full-leather while adding a host of additional features, such as LED fog lights and DRLs and so much more.
